HulaPalooza Auction Report
Last month’s auction was a huge success in all kinds of ways, and I want to thank everyone for being a
part of it. We had a wonderful time enjoying Hawaiian music, dance and food, as ‘ohana – family. Most
importantly, it was a special opportunity to socialize with friends and raise critical funds for our parish
and our social ministry partners Western Farm Workers and William Temple House.
Preliminary results indicate that we raised approximately $58,000 which includes generous donations
before the event to fund the lunch and several auction items. Deducting costs for the event, the auction
raised approximately $34,000 to support our parish ministries. That is $4,000 above our fundraising
goal!! In addition, we raised $19,000 for our social ministry partners Western Farm Workers and
William Temple House. That is $7,000 more than we raised for social ministries last year!! Thank you all
for your generosity!!
